How RankGL ranks channels and estimates rates
One page that defines every metric on RankGL: where the data comes from, how we rank, and how we estimate sponsorship rates.

Where the data comes from
RankGL uses public channel statistics from YouTube’s official API: subscriber count, total views, video count, country and category. We collect them once a day and keep a daily history, so every number on the site is a change between two real days.
Rankings refresh once a day, around 06:00 UTC. Every page shows when it was last updated. YouTube rounds subscriber counts, which is why we use 7-day and 30-day pace and never a single day.
How the rankings work
RankGL ranks growth, not size. A channel with 40,000 subscribers that grew fast this week can outrank a channel with 4 million that barely moved.
- Fastest growing: the 7-day subscriber growth rate, which is the subscribers gained in 7 days divided by the subscribers at the start. Ties are broken by total gain.
- Breakout: the same ranking, limited to channels between 10K and 100K subscribers with a high growth rate.
- Most viewed: views in the last 7 days, and how that compares with the 7 days before.
- New: channels we started tracking recently, ranked by growth.
- Moves: the places a channel gained or lost in its niche list since yesterday.
A channel is ranked within a niche and a country. Niche comes from the channel’s category; country is the country the channel sets on YouTube, or one we infer from its content when it sets none. A channel with a hidden subscriber count is not ranked.
Milestones and dates
We track the 10K, 100K, 500K and 1M subscriber milestones. “Just crossed” lists channels that passed one recently and how long it took them.
A date shown with a ~ is an estimate. It extends the channel’s recent pace to the next milestone, so it moves when the pace moves. It is our estimate, not a promise and not approved by Google.
How the sponsorship rate estimate works
The rate calculator gives a range, in Bangladeshi taka (BDT), for one sponsored video. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a price list.
Average views ÷ 1,000 × BDT 900 × niche factor gives the middle of the range. The range runs from 0.75 times to 1.3 times that figure, rounded to a tidy number. Below 100 average views we ask you for a figure instead of guessing.
You supply the average views per video from YouTube Studio, because we do not hold per-video data. The inputs are always shown next to the result so you can check them. The base figure is a placeholder until we hold enough confirmed rates, and we will update this page when it changes. Our estimate, not approved by Google.

What these numbers are not
Every score, rank and estimate on RankGL is our own metric. None of them comes from YouTube or Google, and none is approved by them. RankGL is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
- Counts come from public data and can lag or be rounded by YouTube.
- Channels that hide their subscriber count, or that we have tracked for under 7 days, are not ranked on growth.
- A rank describes a moment. Do not read a one-week change as a trend.
