Who we are
RankGL is run by RankGL (Bangladesh). We decide what personal data we collect and why. Contact us about anything on this page at contact@rankgl.com, or through the Contact page.
What we collect
Public channel data. From YouTube’s official API we collect public statistics and details of channels: name, handle, picture, country, category, subscriber, view and video counts, and their daily history. This is information the channel owner has made public.
Your account. If you sign up, we collect your email address and, when you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture. We do not use passwords. We do not ask for your YouTube password or access to your channel.
What you choose to give us. All of this is optional:
- A WhatsApp number, if you say yes to being contacted about paid campaigns, and your consent to be contacted.
- Your real sponsorship rate. It stays private unless you choose to show it.
- Brands that contacted you. These stay internal and are never shown publicly or tied to you in public.
- A business email for your channel, which becomes visible to signed-in brands only after you confirm it.
- Messages you send us, and the details of any paid service you order.
Technical data. Our servers and our hosting provider see your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time. We use it to run the site, stop abuse and fix errors.
Why we use it
- To publish rankings, milestones and rank cards.
- To run your account, verify that a channel is yours and show you your own data.
- To contact you about paid campaigns, only after you have said yes, and to answer your messages.
- To deliver paid services you order.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand how it is used.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
YouTube API Services
RankGL uses YouTube API Services. By using RankGL you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms), and Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) applies to data handled by Google.
You can revoke RankGL’s access to your Google data at any time in your Google security settings (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). To delete data we hold, use the options under “Your choices”.
RankGL is not affiliated with YouTube or Google. Every score and estimate is our own metric.
How long we keep it
- Channel statistics history: up to 36 months. Channel names, pictures and descriptions are refreshed at least every 30 days.
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Messages to us: as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.
- Server logs: a short period, for security and debugging.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and your data;
- stop contacting you, at any time, including on WhatsApp;
- remove your channel from RankGL, using “Remove my channel” in the footer.
Write to contact@rankgl.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict some uses of your data, and to complain to your data-protection authority.
Children
RankGL is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Tell us if you think we have, and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, we will tell you before it applies.
